Italian groups host cuccidati cookie contest, fall fest in Pittsburg

The Sons & Daughters of Italy and C. Colombo Lodge 1315 will host its annual Cuccidati Contest and Italian cookie sale and competition on Nov. 12 at a brand new venue, the Pittsburg Youth Improvement Middle.

Everyone seems to be invited to enter the cookie contest however should present a minimal of 100 cuccidati, Italian fig-stuffed cookies also referred to as buccellati and historically served at Christmastime.
