SALA Competition

The South Asian Literature and Artwork Competition (SALA) returns to Montalvo Arts Middle Oct. 29-30, that includes panels and conversations that look at and have a good time all kinds of factors of view round a sure theme.

Supes get fired up

The Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors on Sept. 13 took steps to bolster fireplace prevention and mitigation efforts.

The board directed county workers to establish funding essential to: develop and implement an aerial fireplace detection utilizing drones; improve coaching for the county’s Central Hearth District personnel; and pursue alternatives to step up gasoline discount efforts within the county.
