A magnitude 3.5 earthquake was recorded Sunday afternoon close to Mount Hamilton, the U.S. Geological Survey mentioned.
The quake, at 3:55 p.m., was centered close to the southern fringe of Joseph D. Grant County Park, about 5 miles east of San Jose’s Evergreen Valley Faculty.
