Bay Area under air advisory from wildfire smoke. The Rum Creek Fire in Oregon is to blame

The Bay Space is underneath an air advisory on Sunday after wildfire smoke spewed into the area from a blaze up north.

The Bay Space Air High quality Administration District stated the smoke will principally be remoted to elevated pockets — and that the air high quality isn’t anticipated to succeed in unhealthy ranges. Smoky skies could also be seen and the scent of smoke is probably going.

The smoke is coming from the Rum Creek Hearth in southwest Oregon, with winds blowing north to south. In keeping with hearth authorities, the blaze is over 8,000 acres.
