Map: 3 California wildfires burning, near beach and edge of Sierra

Three California wildfires that began Wednesday prompted evacuation orders or evacuation warnings.

1. Coastal Fireplace, within the Aliso Peak space between Laguna Niguel and the seashore. As of seven a.m. Thursday, 200 acres had burned and dozens of properties had been threatened. An evacuation order remained in impact; click on right here for the map.

2. Home Fireplace, in Sierra Nevada’s western foothills close to Fresno. As of seven a.m. Thursday, it had burned 170 acres, and an evacuation warning had been issued for the world of Humphreys Station. Click on right here for the map and extra particulars.

3. Rattlesnake Fireplace, on the east fringe of the Sierra Nevada close to Independence. The Inyo County Sheriff’s Workplace ordered the evacuation of the Decrease and Higher Grays Meadow campgrounds within the Inyo Nationwide Forest, in addition to the neighborhood of Seven Pines.
