Man arrested with loaded gun in vehicle near Berkeley elementary school

A distracted driving operation by Berkeley police uncovered a driver with a loaded handgun and high-capacity journal inside his automobile close to an elementary college, police stated.

The 28-year-old Berkeley resident was close to Malcom X Elementary College, situated on Prince Avenue, when he did not cease at a cease signal, in line with a press release from Berkeley police.
