Feds charge Oakland man who allegedly shot himself in the groin during fatal gun battle

OAKLAND — Federal prosecutors within the Bay Space have filed felony fees towards a person who allegedly unintentionally shot himself within the groin throughout a July 2021 shootout that killed a 49-year-old man, court docket data present.

Nicolas West, 23, was charged with being a felon in possession of ammunition in reference to the July 7, 2021 capturing.
