DISCOVERY BAY — Contra Costa County issued an all-clear after briefly activating its countywide group warning system for unspecified law-enforcement exercise Sunday, authorities mentioned.
A social-media publish for the system alerted residents and followers at 4:43 p.m., asking them to shelter in place and keep away from the realm of Cabrillo Level west of Discovery Bay Boulevard.
A follow-up publish at 5:25 p.m. issued an all-clear, saying anybody close by might safely resume public exercise.

In a late Monday morning reply to a request for remark e-mailed Sunday night, a Contra Costa Sheriff’s Workplace spokesman mentioned sheriff’s deputies carried out a welfare test round 3:53 p.m. Sunday on the 4900 block of Cabrillo Level.
“As the decision concerned a potential weapon, an alert to shelter in place was despatched to houses within the fast space,” the spokesman mentioned. “As soon as the scenario was resolved, the alert was lifted.”
The spokesman didn't say whether or not anybody was injured, detained or arrested, whether or not any weapons have been situated or recovered, or whether or not another companies assisted within the response.
The system’s most up-to-date posts on April 28 and Could 2 have been exams, and never tied to any particular concern for residents.
