BERKELEY — An post-mortem shall be carried out to find out the reason for loss of life of a girl whose physique was discovered Monday night within the water on the Berkeley Marina, authorities mentioned.
The girl’s identify has not but been launched.
She was discovered about 7 p.m. Monday after a caller to police reported a physique floating towards the rocks within the water close to the previous HS Lordships Restaurant on Seawall Drive.
Firefighters retrieved the physique from the water and commenced life-saving measures. However the girl was pronounced lifeless there, authorities mentioned.
