A gaggle of shareholders is suing Adidas for not being warned or made conscious of Kanye West’s antisemitic and “excessive conduct.”
USA Right now reported that the lawsuit was filed on Friday “in federal courtroom in Oregon,” and traders claimed that the corporate “was conscious of Ye’s problematic conduct and did not take precautionary measures to restrict monetary losses if the partnership have been to finish.”
Why is that this vital? The Wall Road Journal reported that the lawsuit alleges that the previous CEO of Adidas, Kasper Rorsted, and the chief monetary officer of the corporate, Hurt Ohlmeyer, have been answerable for spreading “false and deceptive statements about Adidas’s relationship with Mr. West, who legally modified his identify to Ye.”
