A Provo man is accused of taking a pair of headphones from a FrontRunner passenger at gunpoint.

John Daniel Storey, 35, was charged Monday in third District Courtroom with aggravated theft, a first-degree felony; utilizing a hid weapon within the fee of a violent crime; a second-degree felony; and interfering with police, a category B misdemeanor.

On April 27, a person driving a FrontRunner practice in Salt Lake County says he seen Storey "speaking rather a lot and performing unstable and paranoid," in keeping with charging paperwork. As the person stood as much as get off the practice, Storey pulled a gun out of his waistband and pointed on the man, instructed him he was feeling threatened and patted down the sufferer, the costs state.

Storey then took the person's headphones and apologized to him whereas stating "that his home had been robbed and he was feeling threatened," in keeping with the costs.

Officers responded to the Utah Transit Authority FrontRunner station at 200 South and 600 West and had been pointed in Storey's route.
