LOS ANGELES — Fed up by an infinite pothole in his Los Angeles neighborhood, Arnold Schwarzenegger picked up a shovel and stuffed it himself.
The actor and former California governor tweeted a video Tuesday of him and a helper utilizing packaged asphalt to restore the highway within the Brentwood space.
As we speak, after the entire neighborhood has been upset about this big pothole that’s been screwing up vehicles and bicycles for weeks, I went out with my crew and stuck it. I all the time say, let’s not complain, let’s do one thing about it. Right here you go. pic.twitter.com/aslhkUShvT

“As we speak, after the entire neighborhood has been upset about this big pothole that’s been screwing up vehicles and bicycles for weeks, I went out with my crew and stuck it,” he wrote on Twitter. “I all the time say, let’s not complain, let’s do one thing about it. Right here you go.”
A neighbor rolled down her automotive window and shouted her thanks on the motion film star.
“You’re welcome,” stated Schwarzenegger, decked out in work boots, a leather-based jacket and shades harking back to his position in “Terminator.”
“It's a must to do it your self. That is loopy. For 3 weeks I’ve been ready for this gap to be closed,” he stated.
Daniel Ketchell, a spokesperson for Schwarzenegger, stated Brentwood residents made repeated requests for repairs since winter storms opened up potholes and cracks on native roads.
Mayor Karen Bass final week introduced a plan to deal with what she referred to as an unprecedented variety of broken streets throughout the town. Since Dec. 30, Los Angeles has obtained 19,692 service requests for repairs, and as of April 6, crews had stuffed at the very least 17,549 potholes, officers stated.
The Division of Public Works didn't instantly reply to an electronic mail asking whether or not the pothole Schwarzenegger stuffed had been scheduled to be repaired.
