A person is in crucial situation after being struck in a crosswalk Wednesday morning.
About 7:30 a.m., the person was about midway by way of the crosswalk on the intersection of 180 West and 7200 South in Midvale when he was hit by an eastbound truck, based on Unified Police Sgt. Melody Cutler. The sunshine was purple when the truck went by way of the intersection, she stated.
The person was launched about 40-50 ft into the air earlier than hitting the bottom; he was transported to the hospital in "extraordinarily crucial situation," Cutler stated.
