No threat found on University of Oklahoma campus after initial reports of an active shooter, police say

The College of Oklahoma’s campus within the metropolis of Norman is safe and there's no risk to the group, officers mentioned almost 90 minutes after the college alerted that an energetic shooter was current on Friday.

The warning was adopted by one other tweet indicating campus police have been investigating “doable pictures fired” on faculty grounds.

“Keep away from South Oval space. Shelter in place,” the college had mentioned.

The shelter-in-place order was lifted after authorities cleared the campus late Friday night time.
