A large oak tree fell and crushed a home in San Anselmo early Friday morning.
The oak tree –– which was estimated to be between 100 and 200 years outdated –– toppled into the two-story dwelling on Yolanda Drive at about 5:23 a.m., mentioned Jake Peterson, a Ross Valley Fireplace Division battalion chief.
Two residents have been trapped within the dwelling. Fireplace crews accessed the house utilizing a ladder and a chainsaw. The residents have been free of the house with out harm.

“With all of the storms, that’s an excellent risk why the tree fell over,” Peterson mentioned.
Crews secured gasoline and electrical energy on the dwelling. A constructing inspector has been notified.
Harm estimates have but to be launched.
