Florida man opens his front door and is attacked by alligator

A Florida man who heard a noise on his entrance porch opened his door and was bitten by an alligator, police in Daytona Seaside mentioned.

The assault occurred round 9:40 p.m. Saturday at a home alongside the LPGA Worldwide Golf Course.

The house owner advised police he had simply opened the entrance door when the alligator on his porch lunged at him, clamped its jaws round his thigh and began shaking him.

He managed to get free and name for assist, and was taken to a hospital for remedy.

A Florida wildlife division trapper was known as to seize and kill the alligator. It was measured at 9 toes.
