Cupertino: Marufuku Ramen finally comes to Silicon Valley

San Francisco’s common Marufuku Ramen has lastly expanded south to Silicon Valley.

This fourth Bay Space location of Marufuku is now serving Hakata-style ramen in Cupertino. The restaurant chain was launched in S.F.’s Japantown in 2010, then grew to incorporate areas in Oakland, Redwood Metropolis, Southern California, Texas and New York’s East Village.

“We really feel blessed to as soon as once more develop our genuine ramen expertise in our founding state of California,” stated Eiichi Mochizuki, co-founder of Marufuku Ramen, in a press launch.

Each the Hakata-style Tonkotsu pork and Rooster Paitan bowls are distinguished by their wealthy, opaque broths — a course of that takes upwards of 12 hours — and skinny artisanal noodles. For now, Marufuku is open for dine-in solely, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m. weekdays, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. When takeout service is added in a couple of weeks, prolonged hours of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. may also kick in.
