Police arrest 3 Bay Area men in series of Marin County burglaries

Mill Valley police have arrested three males they think of burglaries in Marin County.

Authorities had been searching for a BMW linked to a sequence of current burglaries, together with circumstances involving two bicycle thefts and a car theft in Belvedere, in accordance with the Mill Valley Police Division.

At about 2:30 a.m. Thursday, an officer noticed the same BMW close to East Blithedale and Elm avenues. The officer stopped the automobile for car code violations and confirmed that the license plate matched the BMW that police had been searching for.

Police discovered suspected housebreaking instruments and drug paraphernalia within the automobile and arrested the driving force and two passengers.

Emilson Baquedano-Martinez, 26, and Carlos Gomez-Macias, 35, each of San Francisco, and Nelson Torres, 33, of Oakland had been booked into the Marin County Jail on drug- and burglary-related allegations.

Police are nonetheless investigating the suspects’ potential connection to burglaries and thefts within the space.
