Pittsburg man who fired two dozen times in road rage incident convicted of attempted murder

PITTSBURG — A person accused of capturing one other man six occasions throughout a road-rage match that introduced two dozen gunshots has been convicted on all the fees towards him, authorities stated.

Prosecutors confirmed that 22-year-old Anthony Henderson fired 24 pictures within the space of Frontage Street and Crestview Drive in Pittsburg on April 24, 2022. Authorities stated six of these pictures hit a person who was the goal of Henderson’s rage; 11 different bullets hit a close-by residence, which was occupied.

Officers discovered the sufferer down at Crestwood Drive and Kirker Cross Street, police stated. He survived the capturing.

Contra Costa District Lawyer spokesperson Ted Asregadoo stated the jury convicted Henderson on Wednesday of tried homicide; conspiracy; assault with a lethal weapon; capturing into an occupied dwelling or car; possession of a gun by a prohibited individual; carrying a loaded gun in a public place; and carrying a hid gun.

Detectives wanted months to establish Henderson. Data on the place they discovered and arrested him was not out there instantly.

Henderson is scheduled to be sentenced April 7.
