OAKLAND — A 44-year-old Antioch girl killed early Tuesday in a suspected DUI-related incident within the Oakland hills has been recognized by the coroner’s workplace as Victoria Gonzalez.
The 48-year-old Antioch man man police stated was driving the SUV was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter whereas intoxicated. The person, who was barely injured within the crash, was launched from custody pending additional investigation, authorities stated.
The only-vehicle crash was reported about 12:44 a.m. Tuesday within the 3800 block of Grizzly Peak Boulevard west of Fish Ranch Highway.
Police stated the SUV was touring westbound and approaching a flip when it left the roadway and went down an embankment some 200 toes earlier than lastly stopping.
Gonzalez was ejected from the car and was declared lifeless on the scene.
The driving force was arrested after investigators decided alcohol was an element within the crash, authorities stated.
