Off-duty firefighter saves woman from burning car

BROOKFIELD, Connecticut (WFSB) — A girl was rescued from a burning automobile by an off-duty firefighter early Saturday morning.

The Brookfield Volunteer Fireplace Firm and EMS had been dispatched to a single automobile accident on Route 7 shortly after 3:13 a.m.

Fireplace officers say the automobile was on fireplace and an individual trapped inside.

A Paramedic Ambulance responded to the scene one minute after the decision was made and located a bystander eradicating an injured driver.

The bystander was Brookfield resident Nicholas Perri Jr., a firefighter for White Plains New York.

Nicholas was on his manner house when he noticed the accident.

With out protecting gear or a hose line, Nicholas accessed the car and pulled the driving force out as flames started constructing on the passenger aspect.

Nicholas carried the driving force to EMS the place she was handled and transported to Danbury Hospital. He was handled on the scene for minor accidents and refused transport.

“If not for the brave actions of Mr. Perri, the operator would have burned to dying in her car. His actions are a testomony to him, the White Plains Fireplace Division, and the fireplace service as an entire,” writes the Brookfield Volunteer Fireplace Firm in a Fb put up.
