EAST PALO ALTO – Authorities on Wednesday arrested a 54-year-old East Palo Alto man on suspicion of kidnapping and molesting a toddler.
The suspect – recognized as Jose Alejandro Ventura – was arrested in East Palo Alto and booked into San Mateo County jail on fees of kidnapping and lewd acts with a minor below 14 years outdated, in response to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Workplace.
In a press release, the sheriff’s workplace stated detectives opened an investigation earlier this month after receiving a report of a sexual assault involving a minor. The investigation revealed the sufferer had been sexually assaulted inside a locked automobile in a number of places all through the county, in response to the sheriff’s workplace.
The suspect and the sufferer know one another, however they don't seem to be associated, stated Lt. Jacob Trickett.
