Hours after voting to declare Russia a state sponsor of terrorism, the European Union Parliament web site was hit with a cyberattack. European lawmakers met on Wednesday to vote on the symbolic transfer that may trigger Russia to be additional remoted internationally, per CNN.

The European Parliament stated that it made the choice as a consequence of the “deliberate bodily destruction of civilian infrastructure and mass homicide of Ukrainian civilians with the purpose of eliminating the Ukrainian individuals,” based on The Guardian.
