A 31-year-old Vacaville girl faces a preliminary listening to within the coming days on felony prices of assault with a lethal weapon or instrument aside from a firearm on a Suisun Metropolis couple.
Megan Elizabeth Kirby appeared Wednesday in Solano County Superior Courtroom for arraignment on the cost, and court docket data present she will likely be in Division 23 at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 26 for a readiness convention and is scheduled for the listening to at 10 a.m. Oct. 28 within the Justice Middle in Fairfield.
Solano County Jail data point out that Kirby, who's represented by the Public Defender, stays in custody in Solano County Jail in Fairfield, with bail set at $15,000.
In a Wednesday e mail to The Reporter, Suisun Metropolis Police Cmdr. Jeff Henderson mentioned officers responded to a report Sunday of an assault with a lethal weapon within the 300 block of Sacramento Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two adults, a married couple and Suisun Metropolis residents, “who each had suffered accidents believed to have been attributable to an edge weapon,” he wrote and didn't specify what it was.
Kirby, who Henderson mentioned “was out of Vacaville,” was later recognized as a suspect within the case. She was discovered and brought into custody with out incident on Monday.
The accidents sustained by the victims weren't believed to be life-threatening, he mentioned.
There have been no different victims and the Suisun Metropolis couple have been recognized to Kirby, mentioned Henderson, including that no extra info was accessible for launch.
