South Asian Literature and Art Festival coming to Saratoga

A two-day multidisciplinary occasion highlighting native, nationwide and worldwide writers and artists and representing South Asian tradition is coming to Saratoga.

The South Asian Literature and Artwork Competition runs Oct. 29-30, noon-6 p.m., on the Montalvo Arts Heart, 15400 Montalvo Highway.

Organizers mentioned the occasion goals “to contribute to the literary and cultural lifetime of the residents of Silicon Valley.” The occasion will give attention to the theme of “Humanity,” analyzing stereotypes based mostly on race, class and gender.

Particularly, the pageant will spotlight South Asian tradition to spark engagement between authors and Bay Space audiences.
