FREMONT — Fremont police will enhance site visitors patrols within the coming weeks after the division was awarded a $97,000 grant to assist with highway security.
The funding, which was offered by the California Workplace of Visitors Security, can be used to extend site visitors security packages — together with driving beneath the affect checkpoints — and for different enforcement operations targeted on decreasing harmful driving behaviors.
