One dead, three wounded in shooting near UC Berkeley campus

BERKELEY — One individual was killed and three others have been wounded in an early-morning capturing Saturday close to the UC Berkeley campus, authorities mentioned.

The capturing occurred after a battle broke out about 1:06 a.m. within the space of Durant and Telegraph avenues, based on a dispatch supervisor with the Berkeley Police Division.

4 folks have been injured and brought to hospitals. UC Berkeley police mentioned in an announcement round 10:30 a.m. that one of many capturing victims had died.

Not one of the victims have been UC Berkeley college students, authorities mentioned.

Authorities didn't announce any arrests or launch any suspect data.

The assault was the most recent multiple-victim capturing incident within the East Bay during the last two weeks. Six folks have been injured Sept. 28 when assailants opened fireplace inside the doorway to a college advanced in East Oakland. Two teen brothers have been killed in a capturing at an Oct. 1 birthday celebration at a home in North Oakland.
