One dead after two-car crash on Alameda County rural commute road

One individual died early Thursday and one other suffered main accidents when two vehicles collided head-on in Alameda County, the California Freeway Patrol stated.

The wreck on North Vasco Highway close to Outdated Rooney Ranch Highway occurred about 3:40 a.m., when a Honda Civic crossed double-yellow traces and crashed into one other Honda, CHP Officer Tyler Hahn stated.

The Honda Civic driver died on the scene. Authorities didn't instantly determine the individual pending affirmation of their id and notification of their subsequent of kin.

The motive force of a Honda Accord was taken by ambulance to Eden Medical Middle in Castro Valley. It was unknown if that individual’s accidents have been life-threatening, Hahn stated.

No different individuals have been within the vehicles. No different autos have been concerned.
