Inmate crew stops stabbing on Solano County bike trail

VACAVILLE — A crew of jail inmates on clean-up responsibility with an officer overseeing them saved an 18-year-old girl who was being stabbed on a motorcycle path Tuesday, police stated.

The assault of the girl occurred within the space of Brookdale Court docket on the Alamo Creek bike path, Vacaville police stated in an announcement. Officers have been known as there about 10 a.m.
