A 26-year-old Pomona lady turned herself in to police greater than an hour after she allegedly crashed her automobile into a well-liked taco stand in Pomona, killing a person and injuring 12 others Friday evening, Oct. 14, authorities stated.
The lady was driving eastbound on Holt Avenue simply earlier than 7:45 p.m. when, for causes not but recognized, she went throughout the westbound lanes, up onto the sidewalk and into the stand, which was on a mud patch between the sidewalk and the parking zone of a Cardenas Market, Pomona police spokeswoman Aly Mejia stated Saturday.

Gilberto Cazares Payan, 52, was recognized by the coroner Saturday morning as the person who was killed. Police stated they consider he lived in Pomona. Payan’s goddaughter informed ABC7 that the daddy of 4 was choosing up dinner on the taco stand.
