El Camino soccer participant Antonio Arenas is the Bay Space Information Group’s boys highschool athlete of the week for Sept. 26-Oct. 1 after he obtained 29,889 votes (41.57%) by the tip of the voting interval Wednesday.
Arenas narrowly defeated runner-up Christian Aguilar, a Clayton Valley soccer participant.
Aguilar had 28,586 votes (39.70%).
Sacred Coronary heart Cathedral soccer participant Aidan McGrath completed third.

Arenas ran for 3 touchdowns, returned a kickoff 92 yards for a landing and scored on a two-point conversion to steer El Camino to a 34-24 victory over Fremont-Sunnyvale in PAL/SCVAL Lake Division play.
The senior operating again completed with greater than 200 whole yards as El Camino (3-2, 2-0) prolonged its successful streak to a few video games.
