The five Bay Area cities that set all-time heat records on Sept. 6

5 Bay Space cities broke or tied their all-time excessive temperature data on Tuesday — together with Livermore, which had simply damaged its 72-year-old report on Monday.

Three different places set data for the date, the Nationwide Climate Service mentioned.

On Monday, Gilroy and Santa Rosa had set data for September — they usually broke these on Tuesday.

The all-time data:

Livermore, 116. Tied the report it set Monday.

Santa Rosa, 115. Earlier all-time report 113 (1913). Earlier September report 112 (Sept. 5, 2022).

Napa, 114. Earlier all-time report 113 (1961). Earlier September report 111 (2020).

Redwood Metropolis, 110. Tied all-time report (1972) and broke September report of 108 (2017).

San Jose, 109. Earlier all-time and September report 108 (2017).

The data for the date, Sept. 6:

Gilroy, 113. Beforehand 112 for the date (2020) and for September (tie: Sept. 6, 2020, and Sept. 5, 2022).

San Jose airport, 109. Beforehand 105 (2020).

Half Moon Bay, 81. Beforehand 80 (2004).
