Photos: San Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance breaks ankle as Jimmy Garoppolo gets win over Seattle Seahawks

It’s Jimmy G. time once more.

Trey Lance fractured his proper ankle within the first quarter of the 49ers’ home-opening win over the Seahawks, and the upstart quarterback required a cart to take him into the locker room for additional analysis.

Coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed after the sport that Lance had damaged his ankle and would require season-ending surgical procedure.

The 49ers’ medical employees appeared to position an air solid on Lance’s leg following a collision with linebacker Cody Barton.

Lance, making solely his fourth profession begin, was injured when his proper leg received trapped below him whereas he was tackled on a 2-yard zone-read keeper to the Seattle Seahawks’ 19-yard line.

Jimmy Garoppolo instantly took over his outdated job, the one he held (when wholesome) from December 2017 up till final season’s NFC Championship Sport.
