The Residence Depot Basis on Wednesday teamed up with the Housing Authority of Salt Lake Metropolis to revamp two everlasting supportive housing services for women and men, together with greater than 150 veterans, experiencing homelessness.
Greater than 600 volunteers led by Group Depot, The Residence Depot’s affiliate volunteer pressure, cut up up throughout the 2 properties — Freedom Touchdown and Dawn Metro — to revamp the outside areas and provides those that reside there extra comfy and pleasant locations to spend their time.
Volunteers painted the outside of the buildings, put in a serenity backyard and raised backyard beds, planted bushes, constructed a grilling space, assembled furnishings, and put in customized seating and shade constructions.
