BYU can be sporting its all-royal uniforms when the Cougars host No. 9 Baylor on Saturday.
There’s a twist, although, to the look that the soccer crew’s social media account shared Monday.

Welcome ROYAL CHROME to our uni lineup 🥶🥶#BYUFOOTBALL x @byuequipmentpic.twitter.com/AozQ0NqkfY
Whereas the Cougars’ helmet, jersey prime and jersey backside will all be royal blue, alongside white trim, this time, BYU’s facemask can be a nickel shade — as seen within the promotional pictures of the uniform.
The look was dubbed the “Royal Coloration Rush” on BYU social media accounts.
Based on BYU Uniform Tracker, a social media account devoted to BYU’s uniform mixtures, that is the primary time that BYU will use a nickel facemask with the all-royals.
