BYU responds to University of Oregon’s apology over chant incident at football game

On Monday afternoon, Brigham Younger College launched a press release by way of its official Twitter account that thanked the College of Oregon for apologizing for the incident on Saturday in Eugene, Oregon, which noticed followers yelling a chant directed at members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

“We recognize the honest apology from the College of Oregon relating to the conduct of some followers at Autzen Stadium on Saturday,” BYU’s assertion learn. “We acknowledge that this remoted conduct doesn't replicate the values of the College of Oregon.
