Wendover Police Division
A household of 5 was taken to the hospital with accidents that weren't life-threatening Sunday after crashing their automobile whereas dashing on the Bonneville Salt Flats roughly 10 miles northeast of Wendover.
A 2022 Tesla, occupied by a Utah County household, was touring over 100 mph on the salt flats and collided with an earthen berm with little or no braking, in line with an investigation carried out Sunday evening by the Wendover Police Division, Utah Freeway Patrol and the Wendover Hearth Division.
Seatbelts and airbags have been credited with lowering the household's accidents, Wendover police stated. The complete household was transported to the College of Utah Hospital.
