
A hiker is lacking after a flash flood in Zion Nationwide Park, rangers reported.
The Virgin River rose rapidly Friday afternoon after heavy rains, and rangers on the Utah park acquired studies round 2:15 p.m. of hikers being swept off their toes close to the Temple of Sinawava, the doorway to a sandstone canyon reached by a simple paved path.
