Inclusion celebration
The Faculty of Adaptive Arts (CAA) will host a “Celebration of Inclusive Collegiate Partnerships” Sept. 18, 2-4 p.m. at its Swenson Flagship Campus at West Valley Faculty, 14000 Fruitvale Ave.
San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo and Santa Clara County Supervisor Susan Ellenberg will each give speeches on how CAA has impacted their lives and the group.
The fundraiser will even characteristic particular performances and testimonials from CAA college students, in addition to student-led campus excursions.
The CAA, a South Bay-based nonprofit, supplies collegiate schooling to adults with particular wants. It serves greater than 160 college students throughout 4 states, nearly all of whom have been recognized with mental and developmental disabilities, together with Down syndrome and autism.
