10.  RUSH FIRE: Attributable to lightning in August 2012. Burned 271,911 acres in Lassen County and one other 43,666 acres within the state of Nevada. No constructions had been destroyed. No deaths.

11. RIM FIRE: Human-related trigger in August 2013. Burned 257,314 acres in Tuolumne County. Destroyed 112 constructions. No deaths.

12. ZACA FIRE: Human-related trigger in July 2007. Burned 240,207 acres in Santa Barbara County. One construction was destroyed. No deaths.

13. CARR FIRE:Human-related trigger in July 2018. Burned 229,651 acres in Shasta and Trinity counties. Destroyed 1,614 constructions. Eight folks died.

14. MONUMENT FIRE: Attributable to lightning in July 2021. Burned 223,124 acres in Trinity County. Destroyed 50 constructions. No deaths.

15. CALDOR FIRE:Human-related trigger in August 2021. Burned 221,835 acres in Alpine, Amador and El Dorado counties and threatened communities close to Lake Tahoe. Destroyed 1,003 constructions. One loss of life.

16. MATILIJA FIRE: Undetermined trigger in September 1932. Burned an estimated 220,000 acres in Ventura County. No constructions destroyed or deaths recorded.

17. RIVER COMPLEX FIRE: Attributable to lightning in July 2021. Burned 199,343 acres in Siskiyou and Trinity counties. Destroyed 122 constructions. No deaths.

18. WITCH FIRE: Attributable to powerlines in October 2007. Destroyed 197,990 acres in San Diego County. Destroyed 1,650 constructions. Two deaths.

19. KLAMATH THEATER COMPLEX FIRE: Attributable to lightning in June 2008. Burned 192,038 acres in Siskiyou County. No constructions had been destroyed. Two deaths.

20. MARBLE CONE FIRE: Attributable to lightning in July 1977. Burned 177,866 acres in Monterey County. No constructions had been destroyed. No deaths.
