RICHMOND — A San Pablo man was head-butted and had his cellular phone stolen Tuesday morning on the Richmond BART Station by one other man who was later arrested, authorities mentioned Wednesday.
The theft occurred about 8:42 a.m. Tuesday on the platform on the station.
BART officers mentioned the suspect didn't know the 58-year-old sufferer, who required hospitalization for his accidents.
The suspect, a 30-year-old Oakland man, was arrested fleeing the station. The cellular phone was recovered and the sufferer recognized him as his attacker, officers mentioned.
The suspect, who in accordance with jail information is 5 ft 8 and weighs 220 kilos, was booked on the Martinez Detention Heart on suspicion of theft and was being held Wednesday in lieu of $50,000 bail.
