ALAMEDA — Firefighters have been working to extinguish a warehouse that caught hearth Monday within the metropolis’s Alameda Level neighborhood, authorities stated.
Shortly after 3:15 p.m., firefighters responded to the warehouse within the 600 block of West Ranger Avenue, aboard no less than 4 engines and two vehicles and arrived to search out flames and a big column of smoke rising from a big two-story business constructing. Quickly after their arrival, firefighters started a defensive strategy for the incident.
In a social-media put up, Oakland firefighters stated that they had responded to a mutual-aid request from Alameda firefighters.
An Alameda Hearth Division spokesman stated that support introduced the incident complete to about 45 firefighters aboard seven engines, three vehicles, 4 medic items, three chief officers, two workers captains and a two-firefighter care staff. Alameda County Hearth Division firefighters additionally helped with station protection through the incident.
