Wailers kick off Music within the Park

Three legends of reggae and ska music will kick off the 2022 season of First Tech Music within the Park in downtown San Jose’s Plaza de César Chávez on June 17. The triple invoice options three of Jamaica’s most influential bands.

The Legendary Wailers headline, sharing the invoice with Jamaican reggae-fusion band Third Worldand ska pioneers The Skatalites. Native reggae and soul DJ Marcus “Nappy” Adams will combine it up between units.

Fronted by Julian Junior Marvin, who toured worldwide with Bob Marley on the peak of his success, the Legendary Wailers play and sing hit songs by Bob Marley and the Wailers within the conventional fashion.

ALMADEN>>Leland Excessive Faculty’s quiz bowl group competed Could 28-29 on the 2022 Excessive Faculty Nationwide Championship Event, held on the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.

Leland was amongst 272 of the highest highschool quiz bowl groups from 34 states and one in all 21 California groups on the competitors. The group completed the preliminary rounds with a 5-5 file. Leland’s shot on the playoffs ended after they misplaced to William Fremd B from Palatine, Illinois in spherical 16.

The event champion was from Detroit Catholic Central Excessive Faculty of Novi, Mich.

Leland’s group was captained by Aarush Zarabi, who was joined by Adrian Tomaszewski, Kyan Wang, and Joshua Yan.  The group was coached by Rob Miller, who have been assisted by Aiguo Yan and Archana Zarabi.
