Colorado power plant workers who died after being buried in coal pile identified

The Pueblo County coroner on Saturday recognized the 2 males who died on the Comanche energy plant after being buried in a pile of coal.

Kyle Bussey, 28, of Pueblo and Phillip Roberts, 36, of Canon Metropolis died within the accident Friday, Pueblo County Coroner Brian Cotter introduced Saturday. Each males have been pronounced lifeless on the scene of the accident.

Each Bussey and Roberts labored for Savage, an organization that contracts with Xcel Vitality to function the coal yard on the plant.

Each males have been buried in about 60 toes of coal about 8:40 a.m. Friday on the Comanche Producing Station. A 911 caller described the incident as a landslide, hearth spokesman Erik Duran beforehand stated. The incident occurred at an out of doors “feeder pile” for the furnaces.

Rescue efforts started instantly however the males’s our bodies weren’t recovered till Friday afternoon.
