Alec John Such, a founding member of Bon Jovi who introduced drummer Tico Torres and guitarist Richie Sambora into the rock band, has died.
The bassist died on June 5 on the age of 70, Selection reported. A reason for loss of life has not but been revealed, based on Deadline.
“We're heartbroken to listen to the information of the passing of our pricey buddy Alec John Such,” Bon Jovi posted on Twitter. “He was an unique. As a founding member of Bon Jovi, Alec was integral to the formation of the band. To be sincere, we discovered our method to one another through him — He was a childhood buddy of Tico (Torres) and introduced Richie (Sambora) to see us carry out. John Such — who's 10 years older than singer Jon Bon Jovi — remained with the band till 1994.
