BERKELEY — A capturing on Tuesday evening within the southwest a part of town killed a person, police mentioned.
Officers responded about 9:30 p.m. to the experiences that a man had been injured by gunfire within the 1100 block of Channing Means, police mentioned. Emergency personnel arrived to search out the person unresponsive and pronounced him lifeless on the scene.
Authorities haven't recognized him. Police mentioned the person is in his 20s.
Berkeley police spokesman Officer Byron White mentioned the division’s murder unit is investigating the capturing. The murder is the second investigated by Berkeley police in 2022.
Police didn't say whether or not they have recognized any suspects or individuals of curiosity within the shootings.
