Schedule for Ravens’ OTAs, mandatory minicamp announced

The Ravens’ offseason exercise program will begin April 18 and finish with obligatory minicamp in mid-June, the NFL introduced Friday.

The primary two weeks of this system can be restricted to conferences, energy and conditioning and bodily rehabilitation solely. Over the next three weeks, gamers can take part in on-field exercises and instruction, although no stay contact or offense-against-defense drills are permitted.

The Ravens will maintain their 10 days of organized crew actions on Could 24-26, Could 31-June 2 and June 7-10. No stay contact is permitted, however full-team drills are allowed. Participation is voluntary.

The Ravens’ three-day obligatory minicamp can be June 14-16. The crew would subsequent convene for the beginning of coaching camp.

Coach John Harbaugh stated on the NFL homeowners conferences Monday that, after an injury-marred 2021, the Ravens would change “loads of what we’re doing” to maintain gamers wholesome.

“We’re going to method OTAs in a different way,” he stated. “We’re going to method coaching camp, some big-picture schedule in a different way, by way of the way in which we ramp [up] and by way of the way in which we time practices, how lengthy we’re on the sphere, what we’re doing on the sphere, how we tempo the rhythm of the practices — and even inside the practices, what we do early and the way we tempo the rhythm of our practices.”
