Power outage in Danville affecting over 2,300 homes, businesses

DANVILLE — Over 2,300 properties and companies are with out energy within the Danville space Saturday night attributable to a PG&E outage, in response to the electrical firm.

The outage began round 5:30 p.m. and was at one level affecting roughly 4,500 clients, in response to PG&E’s outage map and Danville police.

The ability firm was “assessing the trigger” of the outage, and estimated that energy could be restored by 9 p.m.

The ability outage appeared to primarily be affecting the world west of Hartz Avenue and Danville Boulevard.

Round 7:30 p.m., a supervisor on the Danville Brewing Firm mentioned the facility had been restored after being out for a few hours, forcing the brewpub to shut.

“It undoubtedly threw a monkey wrench in there not having energy on a Saturday evening,” the supervisor mentioned.
