PACIFICA – Authorities over the weekend investigated a bogus bomb risk in Pacifica.
At 6:45 p.m. Sunday, the Pacifica Police Division acquired a name from an individual claiming to have positioned an explosive machine underneath a car parked on the 2300 block of Seashore Boulevard. Police stated the individual offered an outline of the car and stated the car had been particularly focused.
Officers discovered the car, restricted visitors within the space and notified close by residents.
Whereas ready for the bomb squad to reach, officers have been approached by an individual who claimed to be related to the car. The individual denied information of any explosive and cooperated with the investigation, police stated.
The bomb squad arrived round 9:30 p.m., and in the end decided there was no explosive machine in or across the car. Round 11 p.m., the world was reopened to visitors and residents have been notified.
