NBA Playoffs: Stephen Curry probable to play Game 1 vs. Nuggets

SAN FRANCISCO – Stephen Curry stays on monitor to play Saturday when the Warriors host the Denver Nuggets in Recreation 1 of the Western Convention quarterfinals at Chase Heart, coach Steve Kerr stated.

Curry has not performed since March 16 as he missed the final 12 video games of the common season recovering from a sprained ligament and bone bruise in his left foot.

Curry performed 18 minutes — divided into three six-minute segments — within the Warriors’ scrimmage Thursday. Kerr reiterated Friday that Curry will play with a minutes restriction.

“The one factor I’ll say is he’s not taking part in 38 minutes,” Kerr stated Friday. “We’re planning on taking part in him if all the things goes properly and convey him alongside slowly from there.”

Curry stated Thursday that he’d wish to play as many minutes as potential. In 112 profession playoff video games, Curry has averaged near 38 minutes and 26.5 factors per sport.

“There’s no actual concern I’ll be a step slower, I’ll be on the market exhausted within the first two or three minutes everytime you do get again as a result of I've been by it, I do know the work that goes into it,” Curry stated. “I can push myself as soon as I get that inexperienced mild to get again on the ground.”
